ZEON is a cultural civil non-profit association, which was formed in 2006, with Athens as its seat. ZEON’s aim is to become a field of quest, dialogue and creation, so as to mould the quality of the space.

Among the association’s goals, the most important are:

+ The presentation of architecture as bearer of culture and its acting in the formulation of relationships and applications suitable for the evolution of the environment.

+ The presentation of the work of architects and the organizing of exhibitions of architectural and urban-planning interest.

+ The approach to and interpretation of the development and mutation of the urban frame.

+ The planning of seminars and lectures on art and architecture topics.

+ The exploration and development of the interaction between art and architecture as helper to the scene’s qualitative expression.

+ The study of the disjunctive relationship between the idea and the content, the theory and the product.

+ The promotion of the work of creators of original hand-made constructions of applied art, along with the presentation and promotion of normative constructions.

+ The presentation and promotion of groups of young architects and artists through experimental thematic works.

+ The tracing and care of the folkloric and traditional architectural heritage.

+ The publishing and presentation of books and catalogues with art and architecture topics.
